It's hard not to appreciate Union Square Cafe in part because it is consistently good. I ordered the sweet corn agnolotti which has an excellent flavor. It does not come cheap you get seven bite size pasta bits for $4.14 a piece ($29) but then again you are in NYC hopefully on an expense account. The cocktails are always good and the service attentive. Very pleasant atmosphere.

Wonderful restaurant. Great service - smart, friendly and attentive. Delicious food - fresh, paced well, good portions. Atmosphere - fun, lively, full of energy. Not too loud.

I came here solo for restaurant week brunch. Amazing deal. The steak and eggs were worth the price of restaurant week alone! It had the most amazing sauce and the beef was so tender. Their free bread was soft and the aioli that went with it was deliciously savory. I loved the chicken liver mousse. They were pretty nice to me as a solo diner and it was easy to get a seat at the bar even though it was so busy!

Been here several tiems over the years. More way back when I lived and worked in NyC. But now I don't. Am in town on business fairly often. And always look forward to when I can stop in for a bite. Had lunch last month. Delicious as usual. And the ambience is just wonderful. Service great as usual too. Nice, classy, reliable. Made my day.

This long-time iconic NYC restaurant is still fantastic. The menu features lots of fresh seasonal vegetable-driven dishes to start, and the pastas are delicious and not to be missed. I've been twice this month and both times really hit the mark. On tonight's visit our server Sarah was charming and engaging, and made us feel like we were old friends coming over to her house for dinner. Highly recommended.

Five stars across the board. We were greeted by not one, but two servers who introduced themselves and told us they would be guiding us on our journey that evening - and a journey it was! While the food was incredible, it was the service that really stuck out to me. Our servers were attentive, helpful, interactive and had a very large impact on our experience. I had expected top-notch service from other reviews but I was truly impressed. Special shout out to Sarah for her deep knowledge of the menu and spot-on recommendations. We loved every single thing we ate but here are the standouts: - Tuna Crudo - Broccoli - **Agnolotti (little pillows of heaven) - Duck Ragu

Came here to celebrate my bf's birthday month and had a reservation in advance. We were a couple minutes late but we were still seated right away. Everyone here was super friendly and made the dining experience more enjoyable. Inside is so beautiful! It's classic, timeless and feels cozy/homey and full of personality with its art and decor. Since it was our first time we took our server's suggestion and got their limited time summer pre fixe menu which was beef short rib, pasta salad, chili watermelon and cornbread. We were served fresh bread and chose sparkling water. The food came out so much faster than we imagined. Everything was delicious and some of the flavors were very unique like the chili watermelon. The beef short rib was a little fatty and I ended up cutting off those parts but it was good overall. The pasta salad was a bit heavy but since my partner and I shared it was more manageable. At the end our server brought us a surprise birthday treat of creme brûlée and it was one of the best I've had! So thoughtful and we really enjoyed our time here.

Definitely a staple in NY. They have great pastas but I wasn't overly impressed with anything else. We came as a group of 8. The service was a little lackluster. For instance, the server asked if we wanted any apps to share, so we asked which ones were shareable and he paused then said, none really but I suppose the salad. A little odd but fine, we ordered the bibb salad to share and ended up each ordering our own entrees (then came up with the brilliant idea of ordering several pastas to share - you can upgrade your pasta to entree size if you prefer). I also asked the server if he had a bandaid, and he said he would go check and come back to let me know but never did. As for the food, I loved the lemon fettuccine, which was topped with bread crumbs. The malfadine was a close second, but I didn't love the rigatoni (though others at the table did). For entrees, I got the lobster, which was a tail cooked well but sitting in a very off putting bold sauce, accompanied by lobster rangoon. Not sure I would order it again. For dessert, we got the tiramisu and strawberry shortcake sundae, all of which were fine.

Location: 101 E 19th St, New York, NY 10003 Service: perfect! Ambiance: Clean and posh. Bathrooms are clean. People are very professional. Food: I was there supposedly for the Lasagna cause I was craving for it in days. I have a friend who ordered it at gold belly and when I searched for it I fell in love with how it looks with the creamy and very filling so enticing but to only find out it's not on their menu there huhu. But it was okay no fret. So as I when was leafing through the menu I ordered Rigatoni instead. It was good but not something I'll come back for sorry.
